Hunter Pistole
Hunter is the third generation of Pistole men to enter the financial services business. Following in his Father and Grandfather’s footsteps, he will be adding on to the 75 years of experience this trio has in the industry. Hunter began in the industry at the young age of 19, starting to work for his Dad, Brad. Hunter still acts as the Vice President of family owned Trinity Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. located in the same building as Invest Pistole.
Hunter believes in very focused education, which is why he is a designated Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) from the American College of Financial Services. Along with this, he holds his series 65 securities license, as well as Life & Health Insurance licenses in several Midwest states. Hunter has a niche specialty in managing investment portfolios for those who are nearing or are already in retirement.
“Investing for retirement needs is completely different than growth investing. Once you hit the retirement red zone, you absolutely have to shift your focus from maximum growth to maximum efficiency. This doesn’t mean growth completely goes away, but it needs to come with more consistency, and less drawbacks. Reducing unnecessary fees, inappropriate risk, and using best practices for retirement portfolios can not only provide you with more income in retirement, but it can also make your money last longer. There are so many important intricacies at this point in your financial life, I can’t imagine people trying to accomplish retirement goals with just any advisor, you really need a specialist for this. From managing your taxable income, reducing risk, asset allocation, withdrawal strategies, and what type of accounts to make withdrawals from, this is what separates the best from the rest. It’s the small and seemingly insignificant things which often get overlooked that end up making a significant difference in your end results. I get the small things right.”
